Flying Fijians winger Jiuta Wainiqolo continues to impress in the French Top 14 league for the 2025/2026 season, currently ranking as one of the top try scorers. Known for his exceptional speed and agility, nicknamed ‘The Fijian Ferrari’ and ‘Mr Worldwide’, Wainiqolo has made a significant impact while playing for Lou Rugby.

As it stands, the 26-year-old is tied for third place with seven tries over his seven appearances this season, a remarkable achievement that puts him alongside Louis Bielle-Biarrey of Bordeaux-Begles. Wainiqolo has dedicated a total of 539 minutes on the field in these matches, showcasing not only his scoring ability but also his endurance.

Leading the try count is Toulouse’s Matthis Lebel, who has recorded eight tries in nine matches. Additionally, Wainiqolo’s performance has positioned him in the top 20 for total points scored, with 35 points to his name. He is joined in the rankings by fellow Fijian player Peniasi Dakuwaqa from Stade Francais, who ranks 16th with five tries across six matches, reflecting the presence and influence of Fijian players in the French league.

Wainiqolo’s consistent performance not only highlights his individual talents but also adds to the growing reputation of Fijian rugby players in international competitions.
