Injury Forces Wallabies Change Ahead of Bledisloe Showdown

Fiji-born winger Marika Koroibete will miss the upcoming Bledisloe Cup match for the Wallabies due to a wrist injury sustained in last week’s 31-28 defeat to the All Blacks in Sydney. The injury became more severe during the flight to New Zealand, resulting in swelling.

Koroibete’s absence has paved the way for Dylan Pietsch, who will make his debut start for the Wallabies. Additionally, Jake Gordon is set to return to the starting position at scrumhalf, taking over from Nic White, who started in the last match.

These adjustments come as Australia aims to end a 23-year winless streak against the All Blacks on New Zealand soil.

The Wallabies lineup for Bledisloe II includes: Angus Bell, Matt Faessler, Taniela Tupou, Nick Frost, Jeremy Williams, Rob Valetini, Fraser McReight, Harry Wilson (captain), Jake Gordon, Noah Lolesio, Dylan Pietsch, Hunter Paisami, Len Ikitau, Andrew Kellaway, and Tom Wright. The reserves are Brandon Paenga-Amosa, Isaac Kailea, Allan Alaalatoa, Lukhan Salakaia-Loto, Langi Gleeson, Tate McDermott, Ben Donaldson, and Josh Flook.
