Leader of the Opposition, Inia Seruiratu, has confirmed that he will serve as an Independent Member of Parliament for the remainder of the Parliamentary term.
Addressing the media, Seruiratu stated that former FijiFirst MPs have the liberty to make their own decisions regarding their political affiliations.
Seruiratu assured that his Opposition Caucus will remain committed to their duties, particularly in holding the Government accountable and ensuring quality service delivery to the Fijian people.
He noted that all members of his team have until July 15 to determine their next political steps, and he will respect whatever decisions they make regarding their futures.
