Tailevu Naitasiri will focus on improving their goal-scoring in their upcoming match against Rewa in round 12 of the DFPL this week.
Coach Priyant Mannu admits that his squad has depth and pace but minor errors had cost them scoring opportunities, particularly during their recent game against Ba.
“There were a lot of missed opportunities in the game against Ba so going forward we will work hard on our finishing.”
Despite losing two experienced players during the transfer window, Mannu is confident in the young talents stepping up.
“We lost two experienced players from our squad in the transfer squad, but we have young boys who can take their place, and it showed in the game against Ba, we picked up our pace,” he added, hopeful about their performance in the next round.
T/Naitasiri will take on Rewa at Ratu Cakobau Park, Nausori at 3pm this Sunday.
