The Fiji Police Force highlighted that PC Baleicakau’s bravery exemplifies the core values of policing, stating, “When others run away from danger, Police officers run towards it just for the sake of the communities we serve.” They emphasized their commitment to serving, noting, “Without thinking of the risk, we continue to serve. Despite criticism and negative comments, we deal with situations head-on.”
