Nadi boxer Robin Hazelman aims to reclaim his status in the ring when he faces off against veteran Joseph Kwadjo in the main event of the Bluewater Boxing Promotion on February 22 next year. The match will take place at the Vodafone Arena in Suva.
Hazelman shared that he is maintaining a standard preparation routine to ensure he is at his best for the fight. “I’m in it for myself to prove that I’m still there,” he expressed, emphasizing that his motivation stems from a desire to win rather than seeking financial gain or fame.
Currently in training, Hazelman feels confident about his fitness levels, stating, “Everything is on peak, and I’ll be fitter than ever in February.” He acknowledged Kwadjo’s strength, noting the veteran’s powerful punch, but pointed out that Kwadjo lacks speed, which could be an advantage for him in the bout.
“My little family is my motivation that keeps me going as they’ve been there for me in my ups and downs,” Hazelman said, reinforcing the importance of personal support in his journey as a boxer.
He promised boxing fans an exciting fight, declaring, “I’m not going to give Kwadjo an easy exit. I want to test his power and I want to see and feel what he’s got, so I would love to see you guys on February 22.”
This upcoming match presents a thrilling opportunity for Hazelman to showcase his skills and determination, and fans can look forward to a competitive and engaging encounter in the ring.
Overall, Hazelman’s drive and focus on personal improvement highlight the athlete’s commitment to his craft, suggesting that a positive outcome is possible.
