The villages of Waiqori and Dakuiloa on Oneata in Lau province have received much-needed government relief assistance following the impact of Tropical Cyclone Rae. Lasarusa Vuetaki, a representative from the Tikina, expressed gratitude for the government’s timely response, which delivered aid to a total of 40 households, equally distributed between the two villages.
