Sports Minister Jese Saukuru recently uplifted the morale of the Macuata Rugby Union by presenting them with new training equipment. The team was visibly enthusiastic as they accepted the gear, but Saukuru’s message extended beyond just the physical items.
“Sports are more than just games—they’re opportunities,” Saukuru stated. He stressed that with the right mindset and dedication, rugby could provide pathways that reach beyond Fiji’s borders.
“To all our young people, remember that with determination and effort, you can achieve great things. Let’s support each other and continue to aim high,” the minister concluded.
