Sports Minister Jese Saukuru recently uplifted the spirit of the Macuata Rugby Union by presenting them with new training gear. The enthusiasm of the team was evident as they received the equipment, but Saukuru’s message extended beyond the physical gifts.
“Sports are more than just games—they’re opportunities,” Saukuru stated. He highlighted that with the right mindset and dedication, rugby can provide pathways that reach far beyond Fiji.
He encouraged the youth, saying, “Remember that with determination and effort, you can achieve great things. Let’s support each other and keep aiming high.”
