Starting tomorrow, December 1, 2024, the prices for fuel and Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) products are set to rise. The cost of motor spirit will go up by 5 cents, bringing the price from $2.62 to $2.67 per litre. Similarly, the price for premix fuel will increase from $2.43 to $2.51 per litre.
Additionally, kerosene will see a price hike of 7 cents, escalating from $1.67 to $1.74 per litre, while diesel will rise from $2.18 to $2.27 per litre. For LPG users, the cost of a 4.5kg gas cylinder will increase from $14.97 to $15.35, and a 12kg cylinder will see an increase of $1.01, moving from $39.91 to $40.92. The price for bulk gas will rise by 8 cents, from $3.08 to $3.16, and autogas will also experience a slight increase, going from $2.16 to $2.22 per litre.
This increase in fuel prices can impact both consumers and businesses, leading to discussions about potential strategies for managing costs and ensuring sustainable energy practices.
