Yolanda Krystel Goundar, a 35-year-old midwifery graduate, recently received a Trophy of Excellence for her Post-Graduate Diploma in Midwifery, embodying the spirit of perseverance with the saying, “When life gives you lemons, make lemonade.” She was among 35 awardees who achieved this notable recognition.
Ms. Goundar faced the challenge of balancing her academic responsibilities with motherhood, a task that was far from easy.
