“FRCS Workers Demand Change”

Industrial action may be imminent at the Fiji Revenue and Customs Service as the union representing 350 workers has voiced dissatisfaction with FRCS management.

Fiji Public Service Association Secretary General Judith Kotobalavu has summoned members to a meeting tomorrow to seek authorization for potential industrial action.

“We have concluded that management is not serious about addressing long-standing issues affecting our members,” she stated.

She expressed that a clear message must be sent to management that they will no longer tolerate delays.

“We will also be writing to the board of directors to request a meeting and discuss our grievances directly with them,” she added.

Questions were sent yesterday to FRCS CEO Udit Singh and Manager of Corporate Communications Devika Narayan.
