Police Commissioner Rusiate Tudravu announced that a comprehensive digital forensic analysis has been completed on the devices of seven officers featured in the widely circulated screenshots.
Commissioner Tudravu confirmed that forensic examinations, carried out with the aid of the Australian Federal Police and United States law enforcement, included efforts to recover deleted messages. However, he emphasized the necessity of identifying the original creator and distributor of the messages for the case to proceed. “Our priority is to find the source,” Tudravu stated, highlighting that the identification of this individual could provide crucial evidence for the investigation.
A senior detective has been dispatched to Sydney to gather a statement from the person who uploaded the incriminating screenshots, as law enforcement continues its search for the originator.
