The Fiji National University (FNU) is poised to celebrate the graduation of thousands of students from its various colleges and centers today at the Vodafone Arena in Suva. This three-day graduation ceremony will recognize the achievements of students from multiple campuses across the nation.

The first day of the event will spotlight graduates from the College of Business, Hospitality and Tourism Studies, as well as the College of Humanities and Education. The second day will honor students from the College of Medicine, Nursing, and Health Sciences. Meanwhile, the final day will celebrate the graduates of the College of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry, the College of Engineering and Technical, Vocational Education and Training, the Pacific Centre for Maritime Studies, and the National Training and Productivity Centre.

FNU Vice-Chancellor, Professor Unaisi Nabobo-Baba, conveyed her pride in the graduating class, remarking, “This is a significant milestone for our students, and we are incredibly proud of their achievements. Our graduates are equipped with the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to make meaningful contributions to Fiji and beyond. They will be the leaders, innovators, and change-makers of tomorrow.”

This milestone not only marks individual achievements but also reflects the university’s commitment to delivering a world-class education and nurturing excellence across all academic fields. The event is expected to be a joyous occasion as graduates, along with their families, friends, and the FNU community, gather to celebrate these remarkable accomplishments.

In a world that is constantly evolving, the skills and knowledge in demand are more crucial than ever, making the graduation of these students a hopeful indicator of Fiji’s potential for the future. Their contributions may indeed empower Fiji and pave the way for innovative solutions to pressing challenges.
