Flash Floods Force Road Closures: Motorists Warned to Exercise Caution

Heavy rainfall in the Western Division has resulted in flash floods, leading to the closure of numerous roads and creating hazardous driving conditions. The National Disaster Management Office (NDMO) has issued a warning to all motorists, urging them to exercise extreme caution while navigating the area.

Key roads currently closed due to flooding include:

**Sigatoka/Nadi:**
– Kabisi Crossing
– Ulusila Crossing
– Nacocolevu Crossing
– Lomawai Road – Vatukadiri Crossing
– Mate Road Crossing
– Drasa Dam Road

**Lautoka:**
– 1st Crossing
– Vakabuli Paipai – 1st Crossing
– Saru Back Road Crossing
– Buabua Road 1st Crossing
– Vuda Back Road 1st Crossing
– Navula Road Crossing

**Ba:**
– Marinitawa Rd
– Toge Rd Crossing

**Kings Road, Tavua:**
– Yaladro junction experiencing surface flooding but is accessible by 4×4 and heavy vehicles.
– Additional roads affected include Mataniwai Rd, Rukuruku Rd, Nabuna Rd, Yaladro Rd, Qalela Rd – 1st Crossing, Nasomo Road, 2nd Crossing, Dramasi Rd, 1st Crossing, and Naseyani Rd.
