The Fiji Year 12 Certificate Examination (FY12CE) achieved a pass rate of 74 percent in 2025, as announced by the Minister for Education, Aseri Radrodro. This year, 12,020 students participated in the examination, marking a slight decrease from 2024 when 12,868 candidates took the FY12CE and attained a 76 percent pass rate.
Minister Radrodro expressed gratitude towards the heads of schools, teachers, parents, guardians, and school management committees for their essential support and guidance, which played a significant role in helping students navigate their academic journeys.
Notably, five secondary schools recorded a 100 percent pass rate in the 2025 exam, reflecting an increase from four schools that achieved this milestone in 2024. The schools that excelled this year include Nadarivatu High School, Levuka Public School, Rabi High School, Valebasoga Secondary School, and Duavata Secondary School.
Further acknowledging progress, the Minister highlighted five government schools that improved their overall pass rates: Levuka Public School, Queen Victoria School, Sila Central High School, Suva Grammar School, and Nasinu Secondary School.
The provisional results for the FY12CE are set to be released tomorrow, maintaining anticipation for students, educators, and parents alike. This year’s examination results showcase the continuous efforts and improvements within Fiji’s educational landscape, emphasizing a commitment to student achievement and success.
