Isikeli Basiyalo, a promising young talent from the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua Development squad, has secured a spot in the Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s team for the upcoming HSBC Hong Kong Sevens tournament, taking place from March 28-30. This announcement was made by head coach Osea Kolinisau, who also recognized Drua player Aisea Nawai as part of the 13-member roster.

At just 21 years of age, Basiyalo expressed his excitement about the opportunity, sharing that he initially found it hard to believe he was selected but is now eager to learn and make an impact. This mixture of youthful energy and established skill sets a strong foundation for the team.
