The Digicel Fiji Young Kulas have successfully arrived in San Francisco, where they will set up camp in preparation for the FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup taking place later this month.
Following their stay in San Francisco, the Fiji U20 Women’s National team will travel to Costa Rica for a friendly match against Morocco and Costa Rica, before heading to Colombia for the World Cup.
The team was honored at a banquet organized by the America Fiji Sports Commission in Oakland.
Under the guidance of coach Angeline Chua, the Young Kulas will compete in Pool B at the FIFA Women’s World Cup, facing strong teams from France, Canada, and Brazil.
This tournament marks a crucial milestone for Fiji, showcasing the progress and development of women’s football in the country, while also aiming to inspire future athletes and unite the nation in support of its football team on the international stage.
