The Republic of Fiji Military Forces (RFMF) and the Fiji Police Force have significantly enhanced their partnership to combat illicit drug trafficking, resulting from a crucial high-level meeting held at RFMF Headquarters between RFMF Commander Major General Ro Jone Kalouniwai and Police Commissioner Rusiate Tudravu. This collaborative initiative will focus on launching targeted operations to address the escalating issue of drug-related crimes across the country.
A key outcome of the meeting was the formation of a joint operations task force tasked with identifying, disrupting, and dismantling drug trafficking networks, particularly in high-risk areas.
