The Fijian Government is taking significant steps to address the chronic traffic congestion affecting daily life for many motorists and commuters. Minister for Public Works, Meteorological Services, and Transport, Ro Filipe Tuisawau, emphasized the government’s commitment to swiftly alleviating these issues.
“The government fully understands the difficulties faced by our people and is determined to act swiftly to mitigate these issues,” Tuisawau stated during a recent engagement. A comprehensive Transport Master Plan is being developed in collaboration with the New Zealand Government, which includes measures to evaluate and reduce transport emissions.
