Mosese Naura, a speedster from Nanoko Village in Navosa, has secured a place in Fiji’s 13-man squad headed for the HSVC Vancouver SVNS tournament. The 22-year-old became a fan favorite during the Coral Coast 7s, showcasing his skills and impressing coach Osea Kolinisau, who anticipates Naura will bring significant energy to the team’s performance on the edges in Vancouver.

Also returning to the squad is the powerful forward Ilikimi Torosi. The team has been bolstered by the recoveries of injured players Sevuloni Mocenacagi, Waisea Nacuqu, and captain Jeremaia Matana, who are now fit to rejoin their teammates for this important competition.

Other returning players include Joji Nasova, Vuiviwa Naduvalo, Terio Veilawa, Joseva Talacolo, George Bose, Sakiusa Siqila, and Tira Wilagi, further strengthening Fiji’s lineup. The tournament is set to take place next week from February 21-23, and fans are eager to see how the team will perform with these key players back in action.

This tournament presents an exciting opportunity for the Fiji team to demonstrate their talent and resilience, especially with the experienced veterans rejoining the squad. The combination of fresh energy from Naura and the returning stalwarts may very well lead to a commendable performance in Vancouver.
