More than 230 golfers are currently competing in the 13th annual Sheraton Golf Classic, taking place at the scenic Natadola Bay Championship Golf Course and the Denarau Golf & Racquet Club. This prestigious tournament has sold out its tickets once again, showcasing its ongoing popularity.

Neeraj Chadha, Area General Manager & Vice President for Marriott International in the Pacific Islands, emphasized the event’s significance beyond just the competition, stating, “Sheraton Golf Classic has become an iconic event… It’s about creating special moments, bringing friends along, and really enjoying Denarau, Fiji.” Nearly 85 percent of returning participants show the dedication and enthusiasm for this annual event, showcasing the strong community built around it.

Offering an impressive prize pool of over FJD 145,000, this tournament stands as the largest in Fiji, attracting a diverse group of professional and amateur golfers not only from Fiji but also from Australia, New Zealand, and the wider region. The tournament provides a unique opportunity for participants to enjoy world-class golf while experiencing the vibrant culture and hospitality that Fiji has to offer.

The tournament commenced yesterday and will conclude on Sunday, promising an exciting week filled with competition and camaraderie amongst golf enthusiasts.
