Fiji’s Olympic Journey: Silver Linings and Future Dreams

Team Fiji concluded the 2024 Paris Olympics with one silver medal, placing 74th in the overall medal standings. The silver was secured by the Fiji men’s 7s team, who faced a 28-7 defeat against the host nation, France. Most of the athletes competing were under 20 years old, participating in their first Olympic Games, and expressed pride in representing their country.
