Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs Sitiveni Rabuka has announced that the Cabinet has approved Fiji’s Foreign Policy White Paper. In his statement, Rabuka outlined that the white paper details Fiji’s Foreign Policy priorities across several key areas: Sovereignty Identity and Values, Security, Transnational Security, Climate Change, Bilateral Relationships with major powers, Prosperity, Foreign Policy and Development Assistance, and the Implementation of Foreign Policy. He emphasized that a comprehensive government process was involved in the development of the white paper to steer Fiji’s international interactions moving forward.
