The Lilian Amazon women’s rugby team made history as the first Fijian women’s side to clinch a major title in a UK sevens tournament. The Nadi-based team secured the prestigious LIT 7s Elite Women’s Super Sevens Series by defeating the formidable Hong Kong China team with a close score of 21–19 in the final of the National Pub 7s tournament.
