Fiji Women’s Futsal Head Coach Jerry Sam has highlighted the team’s strong desire to learn and improve as their most notable attribute. The squad is currently in the Solomon Islands for the inaugural OFC Women’s Futsal Championship and is preparing for their opening match against Tahiti.

“The girls have trained hard for the tournament. They’re always looking ahead, and representing Fiji is a milestone they all hope to achieve,” Sam stated.

He expressed satisfaction with how well the team is bonding and motivating one another to progress. “They’re new to this, so they’re eager to learn something new every day,” he added.

Sam indicated that he will be able to assess the team’s performance following their first game against Tahiti on Saturday, but he remains confident in the players’ capabilities.
