The Shree Sanatan Dharam Pratinidhi Sabha of Fiji, under the leadership of National President Dhirendra Nand, is making significant progress with its different pipeline projects, which are expected to yield substantial benefits for its community and contribute to the broader development of Fiji. Mr. Nand describes 2024 as a promising year, with plans to enhance the organization’s infrastructure and capabilities through capital development initiatives.

One of the noteworthy achievements mentioned is the recent establishment of a second office in the Western Division, located in Sanatan Nagar within the Shivalaya Temple. This new office, joining the existing headquarters in Suva, is aimed at improving service delivery to the Sabha’s followers, signifying a commitment to accessibility and support for the community.

Mr. Nand emphasized the importance of maintaining and growing the Sabha’s assets to ensure long-term sustainability, positioning the organization for success in the upcoming decade. He highlighted that each branch of the Sabha plays a crucial role in its operations and that community involvement is essential for the organization’s vitality. The Sabha connects directly with people through various initiatives, including grassroots programs involving women and youth.

This proactive approach aligns with previous accolades from Fiji’s Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka, who recognized the Sabha’s contributions to societal well-being, as noted during his visits. The Sabha has expanded its outreach to address social challenges through educational initiatives and active participation in community service.

Fiji, characterized by its diverse cultural landscape, is witnessing an encouraging movement towards collaboration and mutual support among its various ethnic and religious groups. The efforts of the Shree Sanatan Dharam Pratinidhi Sabha are a testament to the potential for faith-based organizations to play an essential role in bolstering social cohesion and advancing the nation’s development.

The enthusiastic plans for 2024 not only demonstrate the Sabha’s commitment to its mission but also highlight a broader hope for progress, community engagement, and harmony within Fiji’s multicultural society.
