Fiji’s basketball teams have made history, securing gold medals in both the men’s and women’s divisions at the inaugural FIBA 3×3 Youth Nations League – Oceania held during the 2025 Pacific Mini Games in Koror, Palau. The women’s team, comprised of Estelle Kainamoli, Camari Ravai, Moana Liebregts, and Ranadi Koroi, showcased their skills, defeating Tonga in a tense final with a score of 16-13. Meanwhile, the men’s team, featuring Isaac Sewabu, Keenan Hughes, Ratu Gabriel Tuivanuavou, and Tevita Vocea, celebrated their victory with a dramatic 19-18 win over the Solomon Islands, with Hughes sealing the game with a spectacular last-minute play.
