A crucial meeting took place last week between investors from Australia and New Zealand and Fijian Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka to unveil an ambitious $4 billion development initiative in Nadi, known as the Vulani Project. This comprehensive endeavor aims to transform Vulani Island into Fiji’s largest developmental hub, featuring the construction of 23 luxury resorts, a 50-acre man-made lagoon, ecological parks, and a stadium capable of hosting 25,000 spectators.
The development also includes plans for a marina complex to promote yachting and designated parks for water sports and surfing, which are expected to enhance the region’s tourist appeal. Strategically located near Nadi International Airport, this initiative is intended to draw in more international visitors and foreign investment.
