National goalkeeper Jerome Narayan has officially joined the Macarthur Rams, a semi-professional club based in New South Wales. At just 22 years old, this Sydney native is bringing his considerable talent home after making his mark with the Fijian national team, known as the Bula Boys. Narayan played a key role in Fiji’s World Cup Qualifiers in Suva and Port Moresby last year, appearing in all group matches.
The Macarthur Rams announced Narayan’s signing for the 2025 season on their Instagram, highlighting the goalkeeper’s impressive trajectory. Just last October, he made his full international debut for Fiji during the FIFA World Cup Qualifiers, following two consecutive successful seasons with Dulwich Hill FC in Sydney.
The Rams compete in the Football NSW League One, which is the third tier of Australian football, and Narayan’s arrival is expected to bolster the team as they aim for greater heights in their upcoming season.
This signing reflects not only the growth of local talent in Australian football but also offers hope for aspiring players in Fiji. Narayan’s professional journey serves as an inspiring example of achieving success through dedication and passion for the sport.
