Fijian Drua’s Inspiring Journey Captured in New Book Release!

The Fijian Drua has unveiled a new book entitled “The Rise of the Drua – How A Rugby Dream Captivated A Nation,” authored by noted rugby commentator Greg Clark and experienced sports journalist Norman Tasker.

This book chronicles the establishment and growth of the Club over the past quarter-century, detailing its origins during the COVID-19 pandemic and its subsequent ascent within the Super Rugby Pacific league.

The narrative provides insights into the Drua’s difficult journey, focusing on the relocation of the team, players, and staff, culminating in their return to Fiji. It pays homage to the resilience and commitment of all those connected to the team, including players, coaches, sponsors, and fans, who are celebrated for their unparalleled support.

In addition to recounting the Drua’s achievements on the field, the book captures the passion and spirit that drive the team’s success. It includes exclusive interviews, revealing anecdotes, and behind-the-scenes insights, alongside unique photographs that have not been published before.

The book is set to be released on October 11th and will be available in various retail locations, priced at FJ$35 for the paperback edition and FJ$50 for the hardback version.
