Fiji Men’s 7s head coach Osea Kolinisau is exploring the option of entering the national team in one or two local tournaments this year. While many players will be representing their respective clubs in upcoming competitions, there remains a possibility for the national team to participate if the schedule allows.
Kolinisau stated, “We are already conducting strength tests to build our foundation for the 2025 series.” He emphasized the importance of integrating younger players into the team, recognizing the developmental advantages local competitions can provide.
“If our schedule permits, we might join in one or two tournaments. We have numerous young players coming in, and this is a great opportunity to include some of these talents in our development,” he added.
