Ifereimi Rawaqa is set to announce the Fijian Drua women’s squad for the 2025 Super W competition on January 6. The interim head coach plans to select a roster of 35 players. Among those training with the squad are notable athletes such as former national sevens captain Rusila Nagasau, along with 2022 Drua members Timaima Ravisa and Kolora Lomani.
The Fijian Drua women will kick off their season against the Waratahs on February 28 at Allianz Stadium in Sydney. Following this, they will host the Reds and Brumbies at Lautoka’s Churchill Park on March 8 and 15, respectively. Round 4 will see them face off against the Western Force at HBF Park in Perth, Australia.
The semi-finals are slated for April 2, culminating in the final match on April 12.
This upcoming season presents an exciting opportunity for the Fijian Drua women, allowing them to showcase their talent and determination on a larger stage. The inclusion of experienced players in the training squad implies a strong foundation as they prepare to compete against renowned teams in the Super W competition.
