The Fijian Drua will be led by Mesulame Dolokoto as captain during the upcoming 2025 McDonald’s Fiji Coral Coast Sevens tournament, set to take place from January 16 to 18 in Sigatoka. Dolokoto will command a squad filled with talent, including Olympic silver medallist Ponipate Loganimasi, along with skilled players Peni Matawalu, Ilaisa Droasese, Taniela Rakuro, and Tuidraki Samusamuvodre.

The Drua will also benefit from the inclusion of promising young athletes from the Fijian U20 Drua Development team, such as Isikeli Rabitu, Isikeli Basiyalo, and Aisea Tuisese, creating a dynamic mix of experience and youthful exuberance as they prepare for the 2025 Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific season.

Under the esteemed guidance of Waisale Serevi, one of the legends of rugby sevens, the Drua aims to deliver an impressive performance in this prestigious tournament. Serevi expressed gratitude for the opportunity to coach the team, highlighting the honor it is to return to coaching a Fijian team after a long absence.
