Zoe Moore, who has been accused of drug offenses that include possession of methamphetamine and explosives, has been remanded in custody following her initial court appearance. Magistrate Joseph Daurewa presided over the hearing.

The charges against Ms. Moore stem from a joint police operation that took place in Delainavesi, where she was arrested on February 13, 2026, by agents from the Serious Organised Crime and Intelligence Department (SOCID), the Southern Division Taskforce, and the Fiji Detector Dog Unit. During the raid, authorities discovered substances in her vehicle that tested positive for methamphetamine.

Her legal troubles don’t end there; Ms. Moore faces several serious charges. In addition to unlawful possession of illicit drugs, she is charged with possession of property believed to be the proceeds of crime, possession of breaking implements, and unlawful possession of explosives—specifically a non-lethal device used by defense forces designed to disorient targets.

Ms. Moore is being represented by lawyer Isimeli Keteca, and her case has been adjourned until February 24, allowing time for further proceedings to unfold. The seriousness of the charges indicates a complex legal situation ahead for the accused. This case highlights ongoing issues related to drug trafficking and the enforcement efforts being made to combat such activities in the region.
