As we batten down the hatches and brace ourselves for some cheeky clouds and rain, here’s what Mother Nature has cooked up for the Fiji group until midnight tomorrow. Grab your umbrellas and raincoats— things are about to get wet and wild!
Now, if you’re in Navua, Suva, or Nausori, prepare for a classic tropical depression experience! Yes, TD09F has RSVP’d to the party, and let’s just say it didn’t come alone. Expect the occasional downpour, maybe a lightning show or two, and strong winds looking to compete for a surfing championship.
Those hanging out in Nadi, Lautoka, or Ba? Well, it’s not a sunny picnic either! Mother Nature seems to be a fan of drama today, so keep an eye out for her skies, which promise showers and possibly some heavy rain that might make you wish you had taken up a new hobby in kayaking.
Meanwhile, Sigatoka and the Coral Coast are looking for a little solace, but alas, a special weather bulletin reads more like a plot twist in a soap opera—lots of rain on the horizon.
Over in Tavua and Rakiraki, you’re not getting a golden ticket either! TD09F is still around, probably oversharing its rain forecast and sending in gusty winds that could snatch your hat right off your head.
For our lovely friends in the Yasawa/Mamanuca group, it’s a mixed bag of weather tricks. Expect overcast skies and a sprinkling (or a downpour!) that could dampen your dreams of sunbathing.
Now, for those in Labasa, Savusavu, Lau/Lomaiviti, and Kadavu, heads up: It’s computer-generated weather warnings galore! We’ve got rain and a few thunderstorms planning a cozy get-together. Don’t forget your rubber boots!
And finally, for the brave souls in Rotuma, it’s a full-on wind warning! With gusts reaching 50 km/h, it’s a perfect time to fly that kite—but we recommend doing this with caution. Those who dare may be treated to some heavy rain and perhaps a few shy lightning strikes!
