Ahoy there, weather enthusiasts! It seems we have quite a mix in store as our trusty southwesterly to northwesterly winds decide to blow a little bit of everything across the Fiji islands.
Here’s what we can expect until midnight tomorrow. If you find yourself in southern parts of Viti Levu (yes, we’re looking at you Nadroga/Navosa, Serua-Namosi, Navua-Suva-Nausori), as well as Southern Bua, Cakaudrove, Lau, Lomaiviti, Kadavu, and the surrounding smaller isles, prepare for cloudy spells with a few brief showers. Meanwhile, the rest of you can keep your sunglasses handy—although there’s a slight chance of isolated showers crashing your sunny party in the afternoon or evening.
Speaking of drama, those of you on the eastern half of Viti Levu might want to keep your umbrellas ready—thunderstorms could be auditioning for the spotlight this afternoon or evening!
Expect moderate to fresh winds from the southwest to the north, and seas that might be moderate to rough—perfect for an impromptu surfing competition or maybe just a leisurely float if you’re feeling brave.
Looking ahead to Tuesday: more of the same, as we skip into a cloudy forecast with little showers sprinkling southern areas like Serua-Namosi, Navua-Suva-Nausori, Tailevu-Naitasiri, Southern Bua, Cakaudrove, Lau, Lomaiviti, and Kadavu. But if you’re somewhere else, you might just stay dry, with only a slight chance of a sneaky shower making an appearance.
For specific places:
– **Navua/Suva/Nausori**: Cloudy with brief showers and the chance of afternoon thunderstorms—just enough to keep things interesting!
– **Sigatoka/Coral Coast**: More of that cloudy drama with possibility of afternoon thunderstorms putting on a show.
