Well, folks, it looks like we’ve got a bit of a dramatic weather situation unfolding! A trough of low pressure has decided to set up camp over Viti Levu and will be moving eastward—kind of like that friend who overstays their welcome but brings snacks. Expect a rainy parade that’ll continue throughout tomorrow.

Forecast until midnight tomorrow for the Fiji group: Grab your umbrellas and perhaps a raincoat that makes you feel fabulous! You can expect occasional rain and the occasional sassy thunderstorm to crash the party over areas like Momi-Sigatoka, Ra-Rakiraki, and others. The interior regions such as Nadroga/Navosa and the lesser-known charming spots like Tailevu North won’t escape the showers either.

For those of you in the majestic Lau and Lomaiviti groups, and even Kadavu with its enchanting small islands, prepare for some wet and wild weather. Keep an eye out for possible flash flooding in low-lying areas—classic “Fiji challenge” stuff! But fret not, as these dreary days will eventually clear out from the west starting tomorrow.

As for our breezy companions, we have moderate northeasterly winds gently rustling the palm trees, shifting to a sweet southerly breeze later. So, while you’re cozying up at night, remember—it’s going to be cool, not shiver-inducing!

Outlook for Wednesday: Clouds will hang around with brief showers trying to steal the spotlight in areas like Eastern Macuata and Cakaudrove. However, the rest of the country should enjoy a fine and sunny day, so don’t forget your shades!

For Navua/Suva/Nausori:
Get ready for some occasional rain paired with isolated thunderstorms! The rain, just like a guest with no plans, will be leaving from the west tomorrow. Nights will be cool, so snuggle time is on the agenda!

For Nadi/Lautoka/Ba:
Similar weather here—clouds, showers, and potential thunderclaps! Don’t worry; the rain will pack its bags and depart from the west tomorrow, leaving behind cool, cozy nights.

Coral Coast/Sigatoka folks, expect the same weather pattern: occasional rain and a party-crashing thunderstorm with cool nights to follow.

Over in Tavua/Rakiraki, it’s a mix of occasional rain and clouds for everyone else. It looks like we’re all in this together—rain will wave goodbye from the west tomorrow, ushering in those cooler nights!

For Natadradave/Korovou and Yasawa/Mamanuca: Expect occasional rain and thunderstorms. Showers will also pack up from the west tomorrow, just in time for those cool nightly vibes.

In Labasa, Savusavu, and Kadavu, occasional rain and thunderstorms will make appearances. But don’t fret; they’ll be on their way out come tomorrow evening!

Rotuma, please take note: A STRONG WIND WARNING is enforced with southeast winds that may get a bit rowdy, so hold on to your hats! Cloudy periods and some showers are in store.

Outlook for Wednesday for all: Occasional showers and perhaps a few cheeky thunderstorms to keep things interesting.

So, folks, grab your rain gear, stay safe, and make the best of this weather adventure!
