Situation: An east to southeast wind flow continues over the group. A weak trough of low pressure to the northeast is expected to affect the country from today.

Forecast to midnight tonight for the Fiji group:
– Cloudy periods with some showers over Serua-Namosi, Navua-Suva-Nausori, Tailevu-Naitasiri-Ra, Southern Bua, Cakaudrove, Kadavu and nearby smaller islands, Lau and Lomaiviti groups. Showers increasing to occasional showers from later today. Isolated thunderstorms with heavy falls likely.
– Localised heavy falls may lead to flash flooding of low-lying and flood-prone areas.
– Elsewhere, fine apart from isolated brief afternoon or evening showers.
– Moderate east to southeast winds.
– Moderate seas.
