Greetings from the National Weather Forecasting Centre in Nadi, where the forecast is as reliable as your buddy who says they’ll pick you up in 10 minutes… but we mean it this time!
So, here’s what’s cooking in the weather pot until midnight tomorrow for our beautiful Fiji group: Expect some cloudy escapades with brief showers looking to crash the party over Navua, Suva, Nausori, Korovou, Rakiraki, and surrounding areas like Serua and Namosi. Naitasiri, Tailevu, Ra, Southern Bua, Cakaudrove, Kadavu, and several smaller islands are also on the shower guest list. Lau and Lomaiviti Group, you’re not off the hook either! But if you head just a tad further, the weather is behaving mostly fine—with only a cheeky little coolness waiting around for the nighttime.
Let’s not forget the southeasterly winds that are blowing in with a moderate to fresh flair, reminding you to hold onto your hats unless you want to see them take a little vacation across the sea! Speaking of the sea, it’s feeling a bit rough out there, so do tread carefully if you’re planning on a jolly boat trip.
Now, what does the weekend look like? Well, it seems like the clouds are feeling a bit clingy and will continue with their brief shower routine across the same regions as before. But don’t worry, elsewhere it’s still looking fine. Nights, as usual, will be cool—perfect for that blanket hug you’ve been missing. Winds shifting a bit to the east and northeast will keep you on your toes, while the seas might still be feeling a bit moody.

For Navua/Suva/Nausori: Cloudy with a chance of brief showers—basically the weather is opting for a no-show at the beach! And yes, cool at night.
For Sigatoka/Coral Coast: Mainly fine, and cool at night. Bring your sunglasses, folks!
For Nadi/Lautoka/Ba: Mainly fine with a gentle night chill. The sun seems to like you!
For Tavua/Rakiraki: Looking good—mainly fine with some night coolness as a bonus.
For Natadradave/Korovou: Cloudy with brief showers. Cool at night, so no need for your summer pajamas!
For Yasawa/Mamanuca Group: Mainly fine, giving you the perfect excuse to bask in the sun.
For Labasa: Mainly fine—cool at night. Sounds like a dream!
For Savusavu: Clouds are planning on dropping by with brief showers, and yes, it will stay cool at night.
For Lau/Lomaiviti: Cloudy periods with brief showers await you! Good luck staying dry!
For Kadavu: The clouds have decided to swing by for a visit with brief showers. Don’t forget a light jacket for the cool night!
For Rotuma: Strong wind warning in effect, folks! It seems a straight-shooting trough of low pressure is not just hanging out but is bringing clouds and showers along for the ride. Over land, expect moderate to fresh southeasterly winds and some rough seas.
Outlook for Saturday across the board features more of the same—cloudy periods with brief showers in some areas, while others enjoy the fine weather. No surprises there!
