Hold onto your umbrellas, folks! We’ve got a HEAVY RAIN WARNING sliding into the Northern Division, Eastern sectors of Viti Levu, Kadavu, and our charming smaller islands, as well as Lau and Lomaiviti groups. Meanwhile, the rest of Fiji seems to have dodged the rain bullet—lucky them!

The previously buzzing winds that whipped through the Yasawa and Mamanuca groups, Northern Vanua Levu, and parts of Viti Levu are now gone, leaving us with a gentle wind flow from the north to northwest.

Now, what’s brewing on our weather radar for the next 24 hours? Expect some occasional rain getting cozy over Serua-Namosi, Navua-Suva-Tailevu, Naitasiri-Ra, the Northern Division, Kadavu, and the smaller islands, with a few cloudy moments to boot! Just don’t be surprised if some thunderous applause from Mother Nature decides to interrupt your day with isolated thunderstorms. Warning: localised heavy falls could lead to a splash party in low-lying areas—so keep those floaties handy!

Wind-wise, you’ll feel a moderate to fresh breeze with a convenient shift to the west-southwest tomorrow. The sea might be feeling a tad rough, so think twice before diving in headfirst.

Forecast fun for Saturday: Expect occasional showers and a sprinkle of thunderstorms over parts like Navua-Suva-Nausori-Korovou-Rakiraki, Serua-Namosi, Naitasiri-Ra-Tailevu North, and nearby smaller islands. As always, don’t forget the soggy kisses from lovely localised heavy falls. We’re talking southeast winds that might get a little frisky, and yep, those seas will remain moody.

Now, let’s break down the forecast for you fabulous locations:

Navua / Suva / Nausori:
Get ready for occasional rain with a side of isolated thunderstorms. Tomorrow’s mood: Min: 24°C, Max: 30°C. Saturday looks similar with a sprinkle.

Natadradave/Korovou:
You guessed it—occasional rain. Breathe easy, this rain will ease tomorrow! Min: 24°C, Max: 30°C, and a weekend with more rain buckets lined up.

Sigatoka/Coral Coast:
Cloudiness all around, with showers feeling a little shy. Min: 24°C, Max: 30°C tomorrow. Saturday’s forecast is more of the same.

Nadi / Lautoka / Ba:
More cloudiness, more showers, a dewy dream! Min: 24°C, Max: 31°C. Don’t be surprised if Saturday’s forecast keeps the rain theme alive.

Now, for our friends in Tavua/Rakiraki, Yasawa/Mamanuca group, Labasa, Savusavu, Nabouwalu, Taveuni, and our beloved Lau and Lomaiviti group: it’s a rain party everywhere, complete with occasional thunderstorms. So, keep those polka-dot umbrellas at the ready because it’s going to be a drizzly affair.

For Kadavu, the winds want to party hard, reaching up to 45km/h with gusts flapping in at 55km/h. But don’t worry, they’ll mellow out. Rainy business tomorrow: Min: 24°C, Max: 30°C.

Rotuma, you’re still on that strong wind warning rollercoaster, so buckle up! Expect those winds and seas to keep things lively. Tomorrow’s forecast is a splish-splash special: Min: 24°C, Max: 30°C.

And there you have it, folks! Stay dry, stay safe, and maybe do a little rain dance!
