Let’s check out the weather today! It seems our old friend, the low-pressure trough, is rolling into town, bringing along clouds and showers to the eastern parts of our beautiful islands. So, pack that umbrella, because it’s going to be quite the soggy day!
Forecast until midnight tonight for our lovely Fiji group:
Expect a party of clouds and a mix of showers over Serua-Namosi, Navua-Suva-Nausori, Tailevu-Naitasiri, Ra, Southern Bua, Cakaudrove, Kadavu, and nearby smaller islands, as well as the Lau and Lomaiviti groups. It’s like a splash zone, so you might want to wear your best waterproof gear!
Other places will enjoy drier periods, although a cheeky shower might pop up unexpectedly in the afternoon or evening. Don’t worry; they’ll be quick!
Prepare for cool nights, and expect moderate to fresh east to southeast winds whistling through the branches, giving you that perfect “I love nature” vibe. Seas will be moderate to rough, so if you were planning on doing any sailing or launching a small boat, maybe reschedule to a calmer day.
Now, onto tomorrow’s outlook:
Tuesday is looking much brighter – if clouds could ever look bright! Brief showers will still flirt with Serua-Namosi, Navua-Suva-Nausori, Tailevu-Naitasiri, Ra, Southern Bua, Cakaudrove, Lau and Lomaiviti groups. But the rest of us? Sunshine and smiles all around! Just remember, the cool nights are here to stay.
For the specific regions:
– **Navua/Suva/Nausori**: Expect cloudy stretches with some cheeky showers today. Tomorrow promises to be clearer with only brief returns from the clouds.
– **Sigatoka/Coral Coast**: Fine weather, but that could come with a sprinkle or two in the afternoons. Nothing too crazy!

– **Labasa**: You’ll be greeting the fine weather with open arms, though a brief shower might sneak in.
– **Savusavu**: Cloudy periods and showers might pay a visit, but tomorrow is looking dandy!
– **Lau/Lomaiviti**: More clouds and showers, but fear not, as tomorrow looks much better for you too!
– **Kadavu**: Clouds and showers today, but you’ll see some sunshine tomorrow!
– **Rotuma**: It’s cloudy with a few brief showers and moderate east to southeast winds keeping the atmosphere lively.
