Weather Bulletin

Good morning, Fiji! Here’s your weather forecast, hot out of the oven and hopefully not too soggy!

Today across the fabulous Fiji group, expect a fine day with a few cheeky showers popping up over Nasinu, Suva, Navua, Sigatoka, Nadi, Lautoka, and some of those adventurous interior areas of Ba, Nadroga-Navosa, Serua-Namosi-Naitasiri, Bua-Lekutu-Kubulau, and the beautiful islands of Wailevu and Savusavu. Even parts of Kadavu and our glorious Lau and Lomaiviti groups aren’t immune to a sprinkle or two.

For the rest of us, it’s mostly sunny with only brief interruptions from those pesky afternoon and evening showers. And yes, don’t be surprised if a thunderstorm makes an appearance! The interior and northern regions are particularly prone, so don’t forget to keep your umbrella close (or make a new dance to celebrate the thunder, if you fancy).

Hold on to your hats, folks! Moderate southeast to southwesterly winds will blow through, but the seas are just a moderate splash!

Now, peeking into Saturday’s crystal ball shows cloudy periods with those same brief showers over the usual suspects. Let’s face it, they are practically weather celebrities! Elsewhere, the sun shines on, until those cheeky afternoon showers try to steal the spotlight again.
