Weather Gossip from the National Weather Forecasting Centre Nadi, as of 3:30 PM on Saturday, February 14, 2026:

Get your umbrellas ready because while the sun is playing peek-a-boo over most of Fiji, some areas are gearing up for a little shower party! Expect mainly fine weather, with Viti Levu, Vanua Levu, Lau, and Lomaiviti groups throwing in a few afternoon or evening showers for good measure. And if you’re in Viti Levu or Vanua Levu, don’t be surprised if you hear some grumbling from above – that’s just isolated thunderstorms getting ready for their debut performance, accompanied by heavy rainfall.

Winds are going to be moderate, blowing from the northeast to northwest, so hold on to your hats! Those looking to hit the seas, brace yourself for moderate vibes, unless you’re planning on taking a dip in the rain!

Outlook for Monday: It’s mostly fine weather for the day, but remember, showers and thunderstorms are still lurking around in Viti Levu and Vanua Levu, like that friend who never leaves the party.

Now, let’s break down the temperatures because who doesn’t love a good number?

In Navua, Suva, and Nausori: Expect a minimum of 25 degrees and a sizzling maximum of 33 degrees tomorrow. Monday? Same fabulous weather, but maybe take a light jacket for those surprise showers.

Natadradave and Korovou? You guessed it – fine and dandy with temperatures hanging out at a cozy 25 to 33 degrees both days!

For Sigatoka and the Coral Coast, you will bask in fine weather too, but keep your eyes peeled for those cheeky afternoon showers. The temperatures are playing well together: tomorrow a min of 25, a max of 33.

Nadi, Lautoka, Ba, and Tavua are in on the fine weather fun as well. So pack those sun hats as the readings hover between 25 and 33 degrees – perhaps ideal for another round of beach volleyball.

Yasawa and Mamanuca just want to let you know they’re fine too, same temperatures, same great vibes. Labasa is not feeling left out with a minimum of 25 and a maximum of 32 degrees.

For Savusavu? You’re in for a treat with fine weather and those delightful temperatures as well.

Over at Taveuni, the sun and warmth are at your service – perfect for a relaxing day ahead. And don’t forget Lau and Lomaiviti, though they might see some clouds, they’re still keeping it warm.

Kadavu is feeling fine and fancy with temperatures doing a happy dance between 25 and 31 degrees.

Last but definitely not least, our friends in Rotuma should prepare for cloudy spells and a few spouts of rain. But don’t fret, as they’ll still be enjoying temps ranging from a minimum of 25 to a maximum of 33 degrees.

So whether it’s sunbathing, a beach escapade, or cozying up indoors during the rain, there’s something for everyone in this weather forecast. Stay breezy, and don’t let those thunderstorms rain on your parade!
