Don your raincoats and prepare for a mildly dramatic meteorological saga! For today, the Fiji group will experience a performance featuring cloudy periods and the occasional shower, especially over the star-studded cast of Serua-Namosi, Navua-Suva-Nausori, Tailevu-Naitasiri, Ra, Southern Bua, Cakaudrove, Kadavu, and their nearby islands, along with our lovely Lau and Lomaiviti groups. Don’t worry though; the rest of you can expect fine weather—perfect for sunbathing or pretending to be in a sunbathing mood!
As night falls, don’t forget to cool down — no, really, it might get cool tonight, so grab those light blankets! Winds from the east to southeast will be moderate to fresh, with a few gusts trying to show off. And let’s not even mention the rough seas. It’s perfect weather for staying on land and having an epic popcorn battle instead of going sailing.
Looking ahead to Tuesday, the weather continues to play the same tune: cloudy periods and showers for Serua-Namosi, Navua-Suva-Nausori, Tailevu-Naitasiri, Ra, Southern Bua, Cakaudrove, and the delightful Lau and Lomaiviti groups. Meanwhile, fine weather will still reign supreme in other areas. Nights will remain cool so you have an excellent excuse for those cozy movie marathons!
Here’s your daily forecast breakdown:
For Navua / Suva / Nausori: Expect those clouds with a sprinkle of showers. Cool nights are also on the agenda—perfect for cuddling up!
For Sigatoka/Coral Coast, Nadi/Lautoka/Ba, Tavua/Rakiraki, Yasawa/Mamanuca group, and Labasa: Congratulations on landing fine weather with cool nights! It’s basically your turn to shine without a cloud in sight!
For Natadradave/Korovou: You’ll join in with the clouds and a few showers as well, but those cool nights will still keep you comfortable!
For Savusavu, Lau/Lomaiviti, and Kadavu: It’s yet another cloudy day with showers in the mix. Don’t forget your umbrellas—splash fights might erupt!
For Rotuma: An east to southeast wind is on the scene, along with a mischievous trough of low pressure trying to stir things up. Cloudy periods with some showers and isolated thunderstorms might add a bit of drama to your day. Moderate to fresh winds and rough seas mean it’s a day for hunkering down and keeping an eye on the sky!
So, as we head into the rest of the week, remember: raincoats aren’t just for rainy days; they’re for dramatic flair too! Stay safe and enjoy the weather, whatever it decides to throw at you!
