Weather Update!

Hey there, Fiji! Gather round because we’ve got the latest scoop straight from the National Weather Forecasting Centre! As we gear up for what seems to be an interesting mix of clouds and showers, let’s dive into what the skies have planned for us until midnight tomorrow.

Expect a bit of cloud cover with showers showing up uninvited in the Serua-Namosi, Navua-Suva, Nausori, Tailevu-Naitasiri-Ra, Southern Bua, Cakaudrove, Taveuni, and several nearby smaller islands, as well as Lau, Lomaiviti groups, Kadavu, and their little buddies. The rest of us might just see some sunshine, but don’t get too comfy because those pesky afternoon or evening showers could still crash the party!

And if you’re in Viti Levu or Vanua Levu, keep your eyes on the sky! There might be some isolated afternoon thunderstorms trying to join the mix. Winds will be moderate to fresh from the southeast, making sure your hair gets a wild look that will keep you cool—if not fabulous. Seas are moderate to rough, so make sure your boat is ready if you’re planning to brave the waters!

Now, looking ahead to Friday, expect a continuation of cloudy periods and some showers especially in Eastern Macuata, Cakaudrove, Southern Bua, and Taveuni. The usual suspects – Serua-Namosi, Navua-Suva, Nausori, and Kadavu – can expect the typical brief showers, while everyone else gets ready for the occasional afternoon sprinkle and thunderstorm.
