Weather Alert
Brought to you by the National Weather Forecasting Centre (Nadi) at 10:45 am on Sunday, February 15, 2026. Sit tight and grab your umbrella (or sunglasses, depending on where you are) because here’s the forecast for our lovely Fiji group until midnight tomorrow!
We’re starting off with a bit of mystery in the Lau and Lomaiviti groups — think of it as nature’s version of a clouded judgment. Showers will swoop in to keep things interesting! Meanwhile, pump up the sunshine vibes in most other places, except for a chance of afternoon or evening showers and some thundery excitement over Serua-Namosi, Navua-Suva-Nausori, Tailevu-Naitasiri, southern Bua, and Cakaudrove. So, in simple terms, grab the sunscreen, but keep the raincoat handy—what a combo!
The winds? They’ll be coming at us moderately from the northeast to northwest, like a soft whisper inviting us outside. Seas are moderate too, which means they won’t be throwing any major tantrums.
Now, looking ahead to Tuesday: most places will be basking in fine weather, apart from those pesky isolated afternoon or evening showers and the occasional thunderstorm over Viti Lev and Vanua Levu—just to keep us on our toes!
For the marvelous trio of Navua/Suva/Nausori: expect fine weather with a plot twist of afternoon or evening showers and thunderstorms, so don’t forget your sense of adventure!
Today’s high: a sizzling 33. Tomorrow: lows of 25 and highs of 33. Exotic, isn’t it? Tuesday looks similar too!
Natadradave/Korovou, Sigatoka/Coral Coast, Nadi/Lautoka/Ba, Tavua/Rakiraki, and Labasa are all on the same sunny wavelength with that tantalizing 33 degrees hovering above. Expect 25 as the nightly low—perfect weather for either beach lounging or cloud gazing!
In Yasawa/Mamanuca, enjoy fine but slightly cooler weather with a high of 32. For the ever-lovely Taveuni, it’s the same sunshine symphony with highs alike.
Now, for the brave souls in Lau and Lomaiviti, keep your umbrellas close during those cloudy moments, with temps peaking at 31.
Kadavu? Just plain lovely with a nice 32-degree high—ideal for a wholesome coconut water or a beach walk!
And our friends in Rotuma, while a weak trough is hanging around like that one friend who overstays their welcome, expect cloudy periods with showers and maybe even a dramatic thunderstorm or two. Highs around 31, just to remind you who’s boss in the weather game.
Remember to keep an ear out for any surprise downpours or storm theatrics, and enjoy this splendid mix of sunshine and occasional wet surprises. Stay tuned!
