Weather Alert

Brought to you by the National Weather Forecasting Centre Nadi—the wizards behind the curtain at weather headquarters.

As we make our way into tomorrow, it looks like the Fiji group is channeling its inner moody artist with plenty of cloudy periods and some showers. Think of it as the sky’s quirky way of trying on various outfits—particularly in Serua-Namosi, Navua-Suva-Nausori, Tailevu-Naitasiri, Ra, Southern Bua, Cakaudrove, Lau, Lomaiviti, Kadavu, and their cozy smaller island friends.

Fear not, for those outside of the aforementioned chic cloud districts might enjoy fine weather sprinkled with the occasional surprise shower in the afternoon or evening—like an uninvited guest at a party who somehow makes it more interesting.

Nights will feel cool enough for a light jacket, as the moderate to fresh southeast winds keep things breezy. Just be careful on the seas out there, as they could feel like they’ve been hitting the gym—moderate to rough, just like your gym buddy who swears they can lift more than you.

Looking ahead to Monday, the forecast remains a repeat performance! Cloudy periods will continue their dramatic reign over the same regions, while other areas will gleefully bask in mostly fine weather, aside from those elusive afternoon or evening showers that love to play hide and seek.

For you fabulous folks in Navua, Suva, and Nausori, sorry, but the clouds aren’t going anywhere; expect showers to pop by frequently!

Now if you’re in the Sigatoka/Coral Coast area, consider yourself blessed with fine weather—at least until those cheeky isolated showers decide to make a cameo.

Nadi, Lautoka, and Ba? You’re also on the list of mostly pleasant weather, but don’t bid farewell to the chance of those sneaky showers.

Tavua and Rakiraki are sharing the cloudy love with showers over Ra, but rejoice—everywhere else looks quite pleasant, other than some sporadic rain surprises.

For Natadradave and Korovou, cloudy periods with showers are knocking.

Meanwhile, Yasawa and Mamanuca group residents can toast to fine weather, but don’t drop your guard; the odd afternoon or evening shower may crash the party.

In Labasa, it’s more of that fine weather with potential for those pesky isolated showers, while Savusavu sticks to the clouds and showers.

Lau and Lomaiviti will also see cloudy periods and showers, and oh look, Kadavu joins in too.

For our friends in Rotuma, hold onto your hats because the strong wind warning is in full effect. The southeast winds are gusty—perfect for test-flying your kite, just be careful not to lose it!

You might get an occasional shower and a few rumbles of thunder starting tomorrow, just to keep things exciting at sea.

So gear up, stay prepared, and remember, if life gives you rainy days, splash around and enjoy it!
