Good morning, Fiji! Grab your umbrellas and sunglasses because we have a bit of everything on today’s weather menu.
As we dive into the day, expect some cloudy spells and a few sneaky little showers trying to crash the party over Lau and Lomaiviti. Meanwhile, the Sigatoka, Coral Coast, Serua, Namosi, Navua, Suva, Nausori, and a handful of other areas will be turning up the heat with some sun, but hold on tight — the afternoons and evenings may bring thunderstorms that could make even the calmest of us check the weather app nervously! Heavy showers could be showing up as uninvited guests in those regions, so don’t forget your raincoat along with that summer outfit.
Elsewhere, you’re in for a treat with mainly fine weather! Just be prepared for moderate northeasterly to northwesterly winds that might just play a little tug-of-war with your hair. And the seas? Well, let’s just say they’re feeling a bit moderate today too — perfect for those “I’m definitely a sailor” Instagram posts.
Now, here’s what to expect for the rest of the week:
For Navua, Suva, and Nausori: Expect radiant sunshine interspersed with a touch of drama in the form of afternoon showers and thunderstorms. Keep your rain dance to a minimum! Temperatures will be cozy between 25 and 33 degrees.
Natadradave and Korovou: Similar vibes here; a blend of sunny skies and sporadic rainfalls that’ll keep your plants happy! Enjoy temps are also floating around 25 to 33 degrees.
Sigatoka and Coral Coast, you guys can expect the same mix of sunny and stormy conditions, so don’t forget both the sunscreen and your emergency rain gear.
In Nadi, Lautoka, and Ba, it’s a “mainly fine” day! The skies are on their best behavior with temps cozying up between 25 and 33 degrees.
Tavua and Rakiraki, the luminous forecast beckons — sunny with the occasional shower! Perfect for both your beach day and your rain-soaked adventure fantasies!
Yasawa/Mamanuca group is living the dream with beautiful weather and temps hovering around 25 to 32 degrees — make sure to send us a postcard!
Labasa is joining the sunny squad as well!
Savusavu’s in the mix with a few afternoon showers and thunderstorms, so maybe keep your umbrella around just in case — we all know how fickle the weather can be.
Nabouwalu has a “fine” stamp of approval, but be ready for some showers later.
And while Taveuni enjoys the sun, Lau and Lomaiviti will have a more laid-back, cloudy day with the chance of brief showers keeping things interesting.
Kadavu and Rotuma will also enjoy fine weather, perhaps with a brief shower or two to keep the mood light.
