Situation: A weak trough of low pressure lies slow moving just to the east of Fiji. A south to southeast wind flow is blowing over the group. In other words, mum’s the word for sunshine and bring an umbrella just in case.

Forecast to midnight tomorrow for the Fiji group:
– Cloudy periods with some showers over Mamanuca group, Sigatoka-Korolevu, Navua-Suva-Nausori, Tailevu-Naitasiri-Ra, Southern Bua, Cakaudrove, Kadavu and nearby smaller islands, Lau and Lomaiviti groups. Easing to brief showers tomorrow.
– Fine apart from isolated brief afternoon or evening showers elsewhere.
– Cool at night.
– Moderate south to southeast winds.
– Moderate seas.

Outlook for Sunday: Cloudy periods with some showers over Serua-Namosi, Navua-Suva-Nausori, Tailevu-Naitasiri-Ra, Southern Bua, Cakaudrove, Kadavu and nearby smaller islands, Lau and Lomaiviti groups. Mainly fine elsewhere. Cool at night.
